Integrating Astronomy Playfully into School Life — Planetary Games for Motor Skills and Subject Knowledge
C. Streukmann & A. Küpper
About This Paper
This contribution explores the intersection of physical education and astronomy. The authors designed and evaluated a series of movement-based games in which students physically enact planetary properties — orbital speed, size ratios, and rotation — while simultaneously developing motor coordination. The approach is particularly suited to primary and lower secondary students and to inclusive education settings. The games require no specialist equipment.
